How do windshield repairs work?

A "REAL" windshield repair is the process of masking the damage to a windshield by vacuuming out the moisture and injecting the damaged area with a special resin that bonds to the glass to "repair" the windshield. While the windshield repair process doesn't necessarily completely remove evidence of damage, it will return your windshield to its original strength and save you from having to replace it.

How long do repairs take?

The typical windshield repair takes about 45 minutes. This includes the repair process stated above and enough time for the resin to cure. Please note however that temperature and humidity affect the time required to make a good repair.

What if the windshield repair fails?

If you hire us to repair your windshield and the repair fails, we will credit the cost of that repair towards a replacement windshield.
