Framed Shower Enclosures

Framed shower enclosures are a great addition to existing bathrooms. Framed showers are usually made using thinner glass (1/4") with aluminum hardware that gives the enclosure strength, support, and shape. Framed shower enclosures are typically priced lower than their frameless counterpart which makes them an ideal option when price is a factor.

Frameless Shower Enclosures

If you're are looking for supreme luxury for your bathroom, we recommend a frameless shower enclosure. With a frameless shower, tempered safety glass (ranging in thickness from 3/8" to 1/2") is used which minimizes the appearance of hardware causing the shower and glass to be almost invisible. Frameless shower enclosures also come with near limitless design options depending on the size of your bathroom, budget, and starting point.

Frameless Showers & New Construction
If you're building a home and planning on installing a frameless shower, it's important that you have enough support to hold the heavy glass used in these enclosures. We see many beautiful showers literally fall apart because the shower wasn't planned for properly during the framing process. If you plan on including heavy shower enclosures in your new home, make sure to contact us while the carpenter is framing the bathroom. We'd be more than happy to come out and talk you through the exact requirements to ensure the shower will be properly supported.
